Bird decline due to insulating homes

The decline in  population of some birds in  the UK could be down to home owners insulating their lofts. Bird species that nested in loft space can no longer do so because of the drive by properly owners to get their heating bills down.

Light Emitting Paper

Scientists in China have developed a light emitting transparent  folding paper. The thin paper is made By mixing wood flour bio compatible quantum dots -- nano scale, semiconducting crystals formed from zinc and selenium . This should allow for an advancement in folding electronics. Source UPI
